October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it's time to RISE. When it comes to breast cancer, it has never been about the challenge faced, rather the ways in which we rise to meet that challenge.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women (after skin cancer). The American Cancer Society estimates this year about 252,710 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in women, and 40,610 will die from this disease.
